Waking up at 4am. 3am. what a portal that time of day is. i've always been a sleeper, a 10 hour kind of person. and i still prefer getting that kind of sleep, but in the space i share with CP, we are crazy multi dimensional. we are powerful energetic beings and more often than not, when one of us is up at that time, we both are and fairly common. and we are just now really exploring the layer of going with the gift of that break in sleep.
sometimes it's as simple as a bowl and a few words and we slip back into sleep. and lately, when that doesn't flow, we give in to it. 2 nights ago we walked for at least a mile. we walked the slow quiet streets of this village with a full moon high in the sky. photographed the mundane and were completely surprised to see the life the village chose to reveal about itself in the early am. the style and mood. not visible in the day, but obvious that night. the bugs wailing their nighttime tunes set a mysterious soundtrack to the whole show. and we always understand it's so much more than a simple walk around a neighborhood.
after that walk, sleep eventually came again.
last night, pancakes. "are you hungry?" i'm pretty sure i must have known this, but you definitely do not need a mix to make pancakes. whoa. after the pancake craving was established in us both, a super great recipe was found and we made super yummy pancakes.
again, sleep eventually showed up after the break. we don't have 9 to 5 jobs...which makes exploring the middle of the night much less complicated. we can ride with whatever waves are being offered to us.
what's it about? why are we up? we get led so many places and nothing is by accident. anyway, i just wanted to write it down. like the yummy food we eat all the time. i just wanted to write it down.
